Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10+ years in mechanical product design and development.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and DFMEA experience.
• Experience with manufacturing, machining, and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and mechatronic products using sound engineering principles.
• Translate system-level requirements into detailed component and assembly designs.
• Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using CAD software.
• Develop engineering drawings and apply GD&T requirements.
• Perform dimensional tolerance analyses and stack-up studies.
• Document designs through engineering reports and BOMs.
• Conduct DFMEA activities and evaluate component packaging.
• Develop and execute validation and development test plans.
• Support APQP activities related to sourcing, validation, and production readiness.
• Manage product development activities to meet timing, cost, and performance targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers throughout the lifecycle.
