Job summary
HL Mando America Corp is seeking an Electrical Engineer III who will lead controls and electrical hardware design for robotic actuator systems. You will oversee concept development through prototyping, testing, validation, and production support across multiple robotics applications.
The role requires strong expertise in embedded systems, motor control, sensors, and power electronics, with hands-on hardware and firmware work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of electrical product development and design experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and validate electrical control systems for robotic actuators and electromechanical systems.
- Develop actuator control architectures for DC, BLDC, servo, and stepper motors.
- Create electrical schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
- Develop embedded firmware and software for real-time motion control and sensor integration.
- Integrate communication protocols such as CAN, EtherCAT, SPI, I2C, UART, and Ethernet.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for prototype development and production support.
- Troubleshoot electrical, EMI/EMC, and reliability issues and implement corrective actions.
