Relativity Space is hiring a Senior Mechanisms Technician for the second shift in Long Beach, CA. You will collaborate with engineering to build and test Terran R mechanism assemblies, following precise instructions and using a range of hand tools and test equipment.

The role demands 5+ years in aerospace mechanical work, experience with wiring/harnessing and electro-mechanical systems, and a strong focus on quality and standards compliance. Expected overtime and a 50-hour week with a 3:30 p.m.

Formación

• 5+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environments with flight hardware.
• Proficient in using calibrated tools such as torque wrenches and precision inspection equipment.
• Experience in wiring, harnessing, avionic, and building and testing of electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency of relevant aerospace industry standards and specifications, showcasing strong attention to detail and concern for product quality.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical mechanical assemblies.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with engineering teams on building the 1st Terran R mechanism assemblies.
• Follow precise work instructions to successfully complete build operations.
• Assemble and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies using a variety of hand tools and test equipment.
• Work closely with a team of technicians to successfully execute daily operations.
