Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA seeks an aerospace mechanic for the Stage Manufacturing team to assemble Terran R mechanism components on a first shift, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT, with a 50-hour workweek including overtime.

You will follow build instructions and test electro-mechanical assemblies using hand tools and test equipment. You’ll collaborate with engineers and technicians to deliver daily operations, iterate on manufacturing processes, and apply automation and advanced technologies

Qualifications

• 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environments with flight hardware.
• Proficient in using calibrated tools such as torque wrenches and precision inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams on building the 1st Terran R mechanism assemblies.
• Follow precise work instructions to successfully complete build operations.
• Assemble and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies using a variety of hand tools and test equipment.
• Work closely with a team of technicians to successfully execute daily operations
