Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is hiring a second-shift aerospace mechanical assembler to help build Terran R structures and complex electro-mechanical assemblies. You’ll follow precise work instructions, use torque wrenches and test equipment, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to deliver quality parts on schedule.

This role offers a 50-hour weekly schedule with overtime, competitive pay, equity, generous PTO/sick leave, parental leave, and an ongoing learning and development

Qualifications

• 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with flight hardware.
• Proficient with calibrated torque wrenches and precision inspection equipment.
• Experience in building and testing electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience in wiring, harnessing, and avionics.
• Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and specs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams on building the 1st Terran R mechanism assemblies.
• Follow precise work instructions to complete build operations.
• Assemble and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Work closely with a team of technicians to execute daily operations.
