Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA, is seeking technicians for the Stage Manufacturing team to assemble Terran R mechanism components. The role is a first-shift position (5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT) on a 50-hour week with 10 guaranteed overtime hours.

You will collaborate with engineers to build the Terran R mechanism assemblies, follow precise instructions, and test electro-mechanical systems using various tools. Experience with electrical wiring and aerospace standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environments with flight hardware.
• Proficient in using calibrated tools such as torque wrenches and precision inspection equipment.
• Experience in the building and testing of electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience in wiring, harnessing, and avionics.
• Proficiency of relevant aerospace industry standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams on building the 1st Terran R mechanism assemblies.
• Follow precise work instructions to successfully complete build operations.
• Assemble and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies using a variety of hand tools and test equipment.
• Work closely with a team of technicians to successfully execute daily operations.
