Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a Mechanical Systems Integration engineer to support SEIT activities for the final design, development, production, integration, test and delivery of a next-gen MILSATCOM capability. You will help with subsystem integration, interface definitions, and requirement allocations, contributing to build flow improvements and rigorous verification.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with missile or space mechanical component / subsystem design, assembly, integration, and test.
• Understanding of, and practical experience with Systems Integration and Engineering processes.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Flight Sciences, Materials, Manufacturing, Test, etc.).
• Skilled in Creo CAD modeling and CAD control with experience reading/interpreting mechanical detail design drawings
• Understanding of Geometric Tolerancing and Dimensioning
• Experience with mechanical analysis and analytic tools (Creo, CreoView, MathCAD, etc.)
• Ability to obtain a DOD SECRET Security Clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required

Responsabilités

• Support the integration lead for different Mechanical subsystems.
• Support the definition of mechanical system interfaces.
• Support the requirement decomposition and allocation process with the Requirements team.
• Support anomaly investigations.
• Support the definition, analysis, and recommendation of Trade Study options related to the mechanical systems.
• Perform data and document reviews and provide feedback for technical and program documentation.
