Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline.
• Mechanical design experience interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with CAD tools Creo, SolidWorks, I-DEAS, or similar.
• Understanding of mechanics, structures, materials, and analysis.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan, design and develop mechanical products and systems (instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines).
• Apply research to planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical/electromechanical systems.
• Supports production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
