Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Sr Mechanical/Project Engineer to join our team in Florida. In this role, you'll work on the integration and testing of large mechanical systems, and provide lead design support for our ground support equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in designing and analyzing complex mechanical systems. This is an opportunity to work on groundbreaking aerospace projects with a focus on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience with mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated competency in mechanical systems integration.
• Experience leading mechanical designs from concept through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large‑scale mechanical ground systems.
• Serve as primary point of contact for mechanical systems integration.
• Oversee external fabrication and installation contractors.
