Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Mechanical/Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end development of complex mechanical systems, including nuclear/high-consequence applications.

You will apply MBSE to capture, decompose, and trace requirements, and you will coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure robust design and compliant verification across lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering discipline required.
• 5–12 years of systems or mechanical engineering experience on complex hardware programs.
• Experience developing and managing system/subsystem requirements and verification plans.
• Proven ability to brief senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for evaluation, design, manufacture, and verification of mechanical systems.
• Develop and decompose system requirements; manage MBSE processes across lifecycle.
• Lead design reviews, readiness reviews, and customer briefings with potential US government programs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure DFx outcomes.
