Job summary

Körber is hiring a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer in Irving, Texas. You will lead the design and development of material handling equipment, collaborating with Sales and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into detailed designs and manufacturing packages.

You will perform analyses, maintain documentation, and support integration with electrical and controls engineering. A U.S. security clearance is required, and the role offers hybrid work with travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with mechanical analysis tools and product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of mechanical systems and components from concept through production.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into detailed designs.
• Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and simulations to validate designs and optimize performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, and manuals.
• Partner with Electrical and Controls teams for integration activities.
• Engage with suppliers/customers to support design reviews and procurement.
