Job summary

Boeing’s Defense, Space & Security organization in Oklahoma City is seeking an Experienced Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer to join the Air Vehicle Engineering team. This onsite role focuses on modifications and upgrades for Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers programs, with SME responsibilities for the Fuels system of the B-52.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (mechanical, civil, aerospace, or materials).
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical system design.
• Practical experience with Fuels, Hydraulic Systems, or ECS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment.
• Lead the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers.
• Perform detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
• Prepare technical documents for mechanical components and systems.
• Prepare proposal and new business development efforts.
• Work with test program management for work estimation and intake process.
• Delegate tasks to design team and provide supervision to junior engineers.
