Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an immediate opportunity on the Executive Transport programs for a Systems Engineer to join the ET&S Interiors/Payloads Capability team in Oklahoma City, OK. This role supports sustainment and development of interiors and payload modifications across multiple ET&S programs.

Responsibilities include translating needs into performance requirements, verifying interfaces, managing supplier activities, and coordinating with certification authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Experience in verification and validation of requirements.
• Experience with interiors and payloads systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, and verify lifecycle‑balanced system‑of‑systems solutions.
• Translate needs into performance requirements and ensure interface compatibility.
• Manage supplier activities to verify and validate requirements.
• Support requirements decomposition and certification planning with authorities.
• Identify and resolve cross‑functional technical issues.
• Contribute to proposals and reflect technical scope in BOEs/EAC.
• Define and execute risk mitigation and opportunity plans.
• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to support program objectives.
