Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH seeks a Mechanical Supervisor II to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of high precision machinery on large conveyor projects. You will interpret blueprints and schematics to guide crews and operate with cranes, hoists, and rigging.

The role requires 5–7 years in mechanical installations, OSHA-10 or higher, and readiness to travel up to 100% with willingness to work weekends. Full-time, onsite position in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising mechanical installation teams and complex machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and engineer specs for procedures.
• Proficient with MS Office for reporting and project communications.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools in industrial settings.
• OSHA-10 or higher safety certification required.
• Willing to travel up to 100% as needed and work 7 days if required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of high precision machines.
• Oversee bearing fitting, gear alignment, motor attachment per blueprints.
• Oversee dismantling using hand tools and equipment.
• Oversee unloading, inspection, and placement of equipment with cranes/hoists.
• Manage rigging and hoisting operations for moving equipment.
• Supervise up to 200 workers and ensure safety compliance.
• Support inventory control and digital logging for project teams.
