Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor II to assist with installation, assembly, dismantling, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery such as high-speed sorters, conveyors, pumps, and gears in Kentucky.

You will supervise up to 10 workers, read blueprints and specifications, use hand and power tools, and support inventory control. Travel up to 100% may be required; OSHA 10 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical installations.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and engineer specifications to determine work procedures.
• Must have OSHA 10 or above certification.
• Must be able to work 7 days, as needed.
• Proficient with MS Office for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, assembly, dismantling, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery.
• Supervise fitting bearings, aligning gears and wheels, attaching motors and belts per drawings.
• Oversee dismantling of machinery and rigging operations with hand tools and cranes.
• Supervise unloading, positioning equipment, and moving with hoists and rollers.
• Support inventory control and logging through digital applications.
