CSX is seeking a seasoned supervisor to manage the quality inspections and repairs of rail cars and locomotives within a Mechanical terminal and on the line of road. The role ensures work is performed safely per CSX safety rules and in compliance with AAR and FRA standards.

The position focuses on safety, quality, and production improvements, and plays a key role in operational budgeting. The role involves coaching managers and union employees, cross-functional conflict resolution, and

Competenze

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED; 7+ years supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, rail operations, or related fields.
• Knowledge of FRA and AAR regulatory standards and CSX safety rules; ability to coach and develop teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial concepts for budgeting and reporting.

• Execute and communicate the safety plan outlined by the department and safety committees.
• Facilitate safety briefings to promote safe practices for tasks.
• Conduct safety observations and tests for compliance.
• Identify and communicate hazards to elevate for resolution.
• Manage car inspection, yard, and line-of-road activities to meet standards.
• Coach and train others to achieve results.
• Forecast staffing and material requirements to meet objectives.
