Job summary

Bechtel seeks a Project Field Superintendent for a major gas-fired power project. The role will supervise craft operations, coordinate with unions, and ensure compliance with specs, schedules, and budgets from the home office to Cheyenne, WY. Initial work in Reston, VA may precede relocation.

Requires a senior level of experience with power projects, strong communication, and multi-disciplinary coordination. Long-term field assignment and relocation are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent).
• 13–15 years of relevant experience or 17–19 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with US direct-hire projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise craft activities and subordinate superintendents.
• Coordinate with unions and maintain relationships on site.
• Ensure construction operations and subcontractors meet specifications, schedules and budgets.
• Plan workforce requirements and prepare progress and forecast reports.
• Develop and own the Construction Equipment Schedule with the team.
• Review and support project proposals and logistics planning.
