Job summary

Riggs Distler & Company, Inc., a leader in heavy industrial construction, seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to manage projects, ensure scope, due dates and budgets are met, and oversee bid opportunities and estimating. The salary range is $135,000.00 - $160,000.00 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, site visits, safety reviews, client reporting, and ensuring project documentation stays current; travel outside New Jersey is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.
• 10+ years of related superintendent experience in heavy industrial construction.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manages bid opportunities and estimating with customers to support the process.
• Reviews specifications and solicits pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepares estimates with pricing to meet customer specs and financial goals.
• Plans and oversees project scheduling and resource loading.
• Travel outside New Jersey for extended periods will be required.
