Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee day-to-day activities of crews on assigned commercial construction projects. You will guide budgeting and scheduling, ensuring job quality and customer satisfaction.

The role demands strong client, vendor and team relationships, and entails hands-on execution of a range of skilled construction tasks. Candidate must excel in coordinating multiple crafts, reading drawings, and maintaining safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• 7+ years previous experience as a General Foreman, General Superintendent and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
• Ability to successfully supervise large crew (20+) and manage multiple teams.
• OSHA 30 and CPR certifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of reading, interpreting and working to design drawings and contract documents.
• Ability to multi-task, follow written and oral instructions, and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervises field crew, subcontractor and craft activities, including determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and scheduling.
• Coordinates work of different crafts and company departments.
• Performs a wide range of skilled construction tasks.
• Acts as liaison with engineering, estimating and project teams to ensure drawings, specs and schedules are met.
• Coordinates with Quality Control and Engineering to ensure materials, inspections and support craft activities.
