Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Commercial Plumbing to help manage onsite teams, logistics and safety compliance under the Plumbing Superintendent.

This role combines supervisory duties with hands-on plumbing work across various piping systems. You will work with foremen, subcontractors and the general contractor to plan, schedule and ensure timely, high‑quality installations while maintaining a safe job site and accurate material records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial plumbing field experience or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems installation.
• Ability to supervise crews effectively and coordinate with subs and contractors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of job costing, workforce planning and estimating is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of commercial plumbing crews.
• Promote and monitor safety of all aspects at all times.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, tradesmen and general contractor to remove obstacles and promote efficiency.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions.
• Perform material take-offs and order tools, materials and equipment to maximize field productivity.
• Ensure quality installation of plumbing activities and manage deliveries and inventory.
