Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Over 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Over 1 year of experience in inspection.
• Experience with GD&T according to ASME standards.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Experience reading aerospace drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs incoming and in-process inspections of machined components, composite panels, solar array panels, propulsion tanks, and other precision assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards.
• Utilizes precision measurement tools to verify dimensional tolerances and geometric tolerances.
• Documents inspection results, manages nonconforming material, and drives resolution with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, including MRB actions as required.
• Reviews and maintains vendor documentation (Conformance Certificates, material certifications, test reports, FAI).
• Ensures equipment calibration and proper operation of measurement tools.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
• Assists in training production and quality personnel on inspection standards and quality systems.
• Processes inspection results and material transactions in ERP systems.
• Identifies bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in inspection and material handling.
