Job summary

Boeing in El Segundo, CA seeks a contract Inspector to perform precision inspections of machined components and verify conformance to drawings and GD&T standards. You will operate CMMs and traditional gaging to capture critical dimensions, and you will document findings for quality teams in a regulated aerospace environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting GD&T, and maintaining a clean, safe inspection area.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
• Experience with CMMs and manual measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision inspection of machined components to verify conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Use height gauges, dial indicators, surface plates, gauge blocks, micrometers, optical comparators, and CMMs to measure critical dimensions and assess part quality.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, geometric tolerances, and overall workmanship.
