Job summary

Msr-Fsr, LLC is seeking a QA/QC Mechanical professional to lead quality inspections of mechanical systems, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with industry standards across plumbing, HVAC, PVC, and PVDF installations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical QA, experience in data centers or semiconductor environments, and strong documentation skills using MS Office and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Mechanical QA experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Centers, Semiconductor or industrial exp.
• Journeyman experience preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for all aspects of mechanical systems.
• Complete understanding of mechanical systems used in industrial or high-tech environments.
• Knowledge of systems must include all field and workshop fabrication/construction protocols and means and methods as outlined by semiconductor industry standard specifications including systems testing and acceptance.
• Must be able to read P&ID (Piping/Mechanical and Instrumentation Diagrams)
• Familiarity SMACNA
• Computer skills: MS Office, Bluebeam, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, follow up, and final system walk downs
• Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to meet procedures
• Understand and enforce regulations, codes, and industry standards for inspection of plumbing, HVAC, PVC, and PVDF
• Inspect hydro related systems
• Plan and organize activities with stakeholders; discuss work procedures and quality issues
• Record and organize QA documentation on implementation, maintenance and effectiveness
• Complete QA documentation and project reports
• Formulate reports concerning work progress
• Communicate with subcontractors, superintendents, staff, engineers, consultants, and owner's representatives
• Represent company in pre-construction, design, and project meetings
• Perform final QA inspection on installations
• Answer technical questions during project execution
• Review with system owner and verify hardware/config per design documents
• Ensure equipment and overall system OAT/FAT process meets expectations
