Job summary

LotusWorks is seeking a Mechanical Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at a cutting-edge facility in Manassas, Virginia. You will verify, audit, and sign off on mechanical, piping, and structural installations after the contractor QC process is complete, ensuring compliance with engineering designs and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA/QC field experience in Mechanical Systems.
• Experience in semiconductor, data center, or high-tech manufacturing preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in documenting quality records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sign off on mechanical, piping and structural installations after contractor QC.
• Perform 100% visual QA checks on critical welds and fittings.
• Audit weld logs, testing records, and QA documentation for accuracy and traceability.
• Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, or leak tests and verify gasket materials and torque values.
• Review structural pedestals, anchors, and seismic restraint provisions for compliance.
