Job summary

Canadian Breaks Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Mechanical QA/QC professional for an on-site role near Childress, Texas, to oversee installation, inspection, testing, and turnover of critical mechanical systems on a large-scale data center project.

The role collaborates with QA Manager, MEP/Mechanical Construction Team, and clients to ensure compliance with IFC drawings, specs, codes, and manufacturer requirements, while proactively identifying quality issues to protect schedule and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction QA/QC experience.
• Structural/erector/inspection background is preferred.
• Concrete pre-install/inspection experience is a plus.
• Bachelor or higher in engineering or construction management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily QA/QC surveillance and inspections of mechanical work.
• Verify installations comply with IFC drawings, specs, submittals and codes.
• Review Quality Plans, ITPs, checklists and quality docs.
• Participate in pre-installation and First Work inspections.
• Inspect mechanical work before concealment, testing, and turnover.
• Document deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support commissioning readiness and turnover documentation.
• Contribute to QA/QC meetings and metrics reporting.
