Vertical Mechanical Group (VMG) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role emphasizes PM leadership across PM, field, VDC, and procurement teams, with accountability for schedule, budget, and client relationships.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in commercial/mechanical contracting, strong HVAC/plumbing/MEP knowledge, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction or MEP environments.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP systems.
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Ability to read construction drawings and technical documentation.

Aufgaben

• Lead projects from preconstruction through final turnover and closeout.
• Develop execution strategies, schedules, budgets, procurement plans and milestones.
• Coordinate across PM, field, VDC, Engineering, and procurement teams.
• Manage project financial performance and change orders.
• Oversee coordination of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP systems.
• Attend meetings with owners, GC, architects, and subcontractors; maintain client relationships.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with drawings and contracts.
• Support closeout, turnover, and warranty resolution.
