Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead day-to-day activities of crews on commercial projects. You will guide budgeting, scheduling and ensure customer satisfaction while performing hands-on skilled tasks.

You will coordinate with engineering, estimating and project teams to meet drawings, specifications and schedules, while upholding safety programs and QA standards. This role requires extensive field supervision and multi-site availability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as General Foreman/Superintendent or equivalent
• Supervise large crews (20+)
• Experience with man hour and job cost reports, workforce planning and estimating
• Advanced understanding of cost control, forecasting and goal setting
• Strong written and verbal communication across disciplines
• Ability to present information to customers and colleagues
• OSHA 30 and CPR certification
• Familiarity with drawings, design guides, specs and contract documents

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crew, subcontractors and craft activities including method of construction, manpower, materials and scheduling
• Coordinate work across crafts, departments and other contractors
• Perform a wide range of skilled construction tasks
• Liaise with engineering, estimating and project teams to ensure drawings and specs are followed
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Engineering to ensure materials, inspections and support craft activities
• Identify and resolve construction issues, monitor productivity and enforce safety programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
