Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical and HVAC/sheet metal operations for commercial construction projects. You will coordinate with internal teams, review drawings, manage submittals, and drive schedule and budget performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of PM experience in commercial mechanical/HVAC projects, with strong communication skills and proficiency in PM software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical/construction field.
• 3+ years PM experience on commercial mechanical/HVAC projects; or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, codes, and fabrication/installation practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction PM software.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision and strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with project teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate with pre-construction, sales, safety, estimating, CAD/BIM, and fabrication shops; manage schedules and equipment delivery timelines.
• Review submittals (AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, etc.) and scope vendor quotes for ductwork and materials.
• Manage subcontractor RFIs, RFPs, submittals, and Change Orders; oversee budget and schedule performance.
• Support on-site quality control, safety procedures, and code adherence.
• Travel as required; manage multiple projects at different stages.
