Job summary

Jennings Mechanical is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial mechanical construction projects in Charleston, SC. You will lead planning, procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and client communications, working with the Superintendent to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial mechanical construction and 3+ years of project management experience, with strong HVAC knowledge and solid financial and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical construction experience.
• 3+ years managing commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
• Strong financial, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents and establish project administration and logs.
• Coordinate project setup with Accounting and customers.
• Develop the Schedule of Values (SOV) and obtain customer approval.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Review and approve invoices and monthly owner billings.
• Coordinate BIM coordination meetings and field installation planning.
• Mentor junior project staff and maintain Jennings Mechanical standards.
