Job summary

Jennings Mechanical is seeking a skilled Project Manager for commercial mechanical construction projects. You will oversee planning, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and customer communication to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

You will partner with the Superintendent to drive field coordination, BIM/VDC reviews, and closeout activities, while mentoring junior staff and representing Jennings Mechanical with owners and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical construction experience.
• 3+ years managing commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
• Strong financial, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead project startup, planning, procurement, and log maintenance.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and change orders.
• Coordinate BIM coordination meetings and field installation planning.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers; collaborate with Superintendents.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate startups, inspections, warranties, and closeout documentation.
