Job summary

Jennings Mechanical is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical construction projects from startup through closeout. You will partner with the Superintendent to deliver on time, within budget, and in accordance with Jennings Mechanical standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating procurement, schedules, safety, BIM coordination, and client communication while mentoring junior staff and ensuring quality across all project phases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical construction experience.
• 3+ years managing commercial construction projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
• Strong financial, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Project Startup: establish project administration, logs, and approvals.
• Project Planning: review drawings, specs, and schedule requirements.
• Procurement & Buyout: issue POs, subcontracts, and vendor quotes; review submittals.
• Financial Management: track budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and invoices.
• Schedule Management: manage master schedule and manpower planning.
• Quality Management: site visits, compliance with drawings and codes, punch list.
• Customer Relations: serve as primary customer representative and manage meetings.
• BIM & Coordination: participate in BIM meetings, review clash reports.
• Field Support: assist Superintendent with procurement, scheduling, and issue resolution.
• Project Closeout: coordinate startups, O&M manuals, warranties, and as-builts.
