Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with PE licensure. The role focuses on engineering calculations, system layout and design in accordance with policies, standards and codes.

Independent decision-making and occasional supervision of junior staff are expected. The candidate should bring strong communication skills, leadership ability, and hands-on mastery of REVIT and engineering modeling tools to deliver fully

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; minimum 8 years of experience; must be a licensed PE.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and layout/design per policies and codes with minimal supervision.
• Apply practical knowledge to resolve project-related problems and conflicts.
• Independently make engineering decisions and occasionally supervise other engineers or designers.
• Review design with other disciplines for coordination and final design.
• Provide leadership and mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Prepare complete construction documents matching client requirements.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining quality design.
