Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer (PE) to perform calculations, layout and design of systems in line with policies and codes. You will exercise independent judgment and may mentor junior staff while coordinating with project teams.

Requirements include a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, at least 8 years of experience, and PE licensure, with strong communication and leadership skills for multidisciplinary projects in the Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience.
• Licensed engineer (PE) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and lay out/design systems per policies, standards, procedures, and codes with minimal supervision.
• Apply practical knowledge to resolve project-related problems and conflicts.
• Possess independent decision-making for engineering tasks on projects.
• Mentor and supervise engineers and designers as needed.
• Review design with other disciplines for function, clearances, coordination, and final design selection.
• Provide leadership and assign design functions to designated designers.
