Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) in the Phoenix area to perform calculations and design systems that meet code and project standards. You will guide engineers and designers, supervise assignments, and ensure quality while coordinating with project teams.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, a strong background in mechanical design, and proficiency in REVIT. Remote/hybrid work options are available, with relocation support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years and PE license.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and design systems per standards with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to mentor designers.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and design mechanical systems per policies, standards, procedures, code.
• Apply practical knowledge to resolve project conflicts with minimal supervision.
• Independently make engineering task decisions for assigned projects.
• Mentor and motivate engineering designers I–III; supervise efforts to meet schedule and budget.
• Review designs with other disciplines for coordination and final design selection.
