Job summary

Midé Technology Corporation in Woburn, MA, is seeking a Mechanical Product Engineer III to advance R&D into reliable, production-ready hardware. You will collaborate with software, electrical, and manufacturing teams to deliver components such as propulsion seals, sensors, and IoT systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, 5+ years in product or manufacturing engineering in ISO 9001 environments, and strong GD&T, SolidWorks, and PLM experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Strong ability to design, analyze, build, test, and repair mechanical systems.
• Solid understanding of dimensional standards, tolerancing, and GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2018).
• Proficiency with SolidWorks (PDM/DDM experience is a plus) and MS Office.
• Experience with PLM platforms, e.g., Design Data Manager (DDM).
• Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes and design for manufacture.
• Fundamental statistics to support SPC data usage.
• Experience managing ECO/ECR processes with stakeholders.
• Experience developing and executing test plans (environmental, vibration, shock, functional).
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop to transition R&D into finished products.
• Maintain BOMs and documentation per ECO/ECR and ISO standards.
• Create product-level drawings and specifications with ITAR/EAR constraints.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and other engineering disciplines.
• Plan and execute product tests for NPI and lifecycle maintenance.
• Support DFM/DFA reviews and manufacturing method selection.
• Manage time across multiple projects.
• Support test plans including environmental and vibration tests.
