Job summary

Investigo is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical/Product Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of innovative consumer products from concept through production. This full-time role offers flexible PTO and onsite preference in San Francisco, with remote work possible and monthly travel to the SF office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in consumer product design with injection molding and sensor integration.
• Experience taking high-volume products from concept to production.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, NX, or Creo) and GD&T.
• Willingness to travel to China for business.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electromechanical systems including plastics, metals and sensors.
• Drive product development across concept, CAD, prototyping, testing and ramp to production.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, reliability and manufacturing teams to solve tech challenges.
• Perform analyses (thermal, fluid, structural) to validate designs.
• Partner with industrial design and product management to refine requirements.
• Support manufacturing partners in Asia for launches and ongoing production.
