Job summary

CapitalG in Mountain View is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to lead the hardware product life-cycle from concept through mass production. You will drive design iterations, prototyping, testing, and process refinement to deliver robust hardware for advanced driver assistance and autonomous systems.

Collaborating with electrical, manufacturing, and industrial design teams, you will apply GD&T, tolerance analysis, and thermal/EMI considerations to ensure reliable, scalable modules for

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of industry experience in consumer electronics or automotive sensors.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools and a strong grasp of GD&T and foundational physics are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product life-cycle from initial concepts and prototyping through to mass production of hardware solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, manufacturing, and industrial design teams to develop robust modules for autonomous driving technology.
