Job summary

Momentive Technologies in Strongsville, Ohio, seeks a Senior Mechanical Process Engineer to oversee Ceramic Powder, Engineered Coating, and machining product lines. You will lead engineering, collaborate with Operations and Maintenance, and drive safety, quality, and cost improvements through Lean Six Sigma and data analysis.

This role involves sustaining stable operations, leading CI initiatives, and partnering across departments to improve process reliability and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Mechanical or Ceramics.
• 5+ years relevant industry experience.
• LSS (Lean Six Sigma).
• Quality (SPC, Control Charts, Process Controls and Repeatability).

Responsibilities

• Lead all engineering efforts (quote, design, machining, inspection, coating).
• Provide leadership and engineering expertise to Operations and Maintenance teams in Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery, and Organizational goals.
• Assist in sustaining stable operations and a Continuous Improvement culture through leadership, training and collaboration with internal and external resources.
• Lead identification, mitigation, and elimination of safety exposures.
• Partner with Safety department to drive safety improvements and EHS compliance.
