Job summary

EDG Inc. seeks a Sr. Mechanical Engineer-Practice Leader to guide and grow the mechanical engineering practice in our Columbus office. You will lead technical and client-facing efforts across markets, mentor staff, and help shape strategic objectives and project execution.

The role requires a PE license, a PE with 10+ years in mechanical engineering, and a track record of leading multidisciplinary projects. Strong leadership and business development skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Ten or more years of progressive mechanical engineering experience.
• Eight or more years leading multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Engineering practice within the Columbus unit.
• Establish discipline standards, procedures, design guides, and QA processes.
• Develop strategic initiatives to expand mechanical engineering services.
• Coordinate with leadership on business planning and market expansion.
• Mentor engineers and staff; ensure timely delivery of quality services.
