Job summary

KALCON is seeking a self-starting Mechanical Project Manager to lead project delivery as an Owner’s Representative on mechanical construction for a data center campus in Burlington, TX. You will coordinate with procurement, Client stakeholders, and GC, manage schedules, and oversee safety, quality, and financials.

The role requires a strong Mechanical/MEP background, 5+ years of construction leadership, and experience with Procore or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead biweekly schedule review meetings and ensure alignment with project milestones.
• Perform regular site walks to validate installation progress against schedule and quality standards.
• Act as liaison between procurement, Client stakeholders, and GC for OFCI equipment coordination.
• Own Client meeting agendas, lead meetings, and maintain accurate meeting minutes.
• Oversee project safety program, including weekly safety observations and reporting.
• Manage review and approval of pay applications and lien waivers.
• Coordinate project schedule, procurement activities, and design updates with internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with GC and trade partners.
• Oversee document control, commissioning coordination, and closeout activities.
• Manage purchase orders and change orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead coordination meetings and drive action items across project teams.
