Job summary

PremiStar seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex mechanical and plumbing projects from handoff to closeout. You will guide Project Engineers and General Superintendents while ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer commitments are met.

With 12+ years in the field and a PMP or related credential preferred, you will drive planning, risk management, and cross-functional coordination across multiple sites, traveling as required and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field.
• Advanced coursework in mechanical or plumbing construction or project management preferred.
• 10–15 years of project management or project engineering in mechanical/plumbing industries.
• At least 3 years of leadership to field and project personnel.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex mechanical and plumbing projects from handoff through closeout.
• Provide leadership to Project Engineers and General Superintendents; assign resources.
• Conduct handoff and planning meetings aligning blueprints, specs, budgets, and schedules.
• Monitor progress with weekly site visits; identify risks and take corrective actions.
• Manage project financials, including labor, purchasing, billing, forecasting, and change orders.
• Procure materials and equipment; ensure quality and alignment with budget.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with general contractors.
• Ensure jobsite safety and compliance; lead safety meetings and inspections.
• Coordinate across internal/external groups and contribute to best practices.
• Possibly supervise others and travel to multiple sites.
