Job summary

H&G Systems in Dallas-Fort Worth is seeking a Mechanical Welding Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial and industrial piping projects. You will direct pipefitters, welders, foremen, and field crews, planning manpower, equipment, and daily activities to meet schedules.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in piping and 5+ years in field leadership, plus a current 6G welding certification. You will coordinate with project management and other trades while upholding safety,

Qualifications

10+ years of commercial/industrial piping experience.
5+ years leading field crews (foreman/superintendent).
Current 6G Welding Certification.
Proficient reading blueprints and weld maps.

Responsibilities

Lead field operations for commercial and industrial piping projects.
Direct and develop pipefitters, welders, foremen, and other field personnel.
Plan manpower, equipment, materials, and daily activities to meet schedules.
Coordinate piping activities with PMs, GCs, and other trades.
Read blueprints, piping drawings, weld maps, and specs.
Oversee piping layout, fabrication, installation, welding, testing, and completion.
Monitor productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
Ensure installations meet codes and company standards.
Maintain a strong safety culture and accountability.
Mentor foremen and craft professionals; develop future field leaders.
