Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Construction Superintendent with mechanical piping focus to supervise craft professionals, uphold safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will lead design interpretation, cost estimation, and field coordination across site disciplines.

The role requires strong leadership, DOE/CLA knowledge, and experience in piping and related construction disciplines, enabling effective cost control and project delivery.

Qualifications

Supervisory construction experience with direct-hire craft professionals.
Ability to interpret design drawings, ensure safety, quality, cost and schedule adherence.
Experience in DOE/site environments and with construction QA standards.

Responsibilities

Schedule and supervise craft activities, monitor progress and enforce CLA rules.
Coordinate with Facilities and other site teams to initiate and complete work.
Develop cost and schedule estimates to support planning and staffing.
Prepare change notices and as-built drawings where needed.
Coach and mentor craft supervisors and ensure safety compliance.
