Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in engineering field.
• Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Minimum 5 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• Experience managing patent prosecution docket and ownership of applications.
• Ability to collaborate with supervising partners, assistants, paralegals, and docketing specialists.
• Law firm or in-house IP experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications.
• Provide patentability assessments and assist with freedom-to-operate and due diligence.
• Coordinate with foreign law firms and associates to file foreign applications.
• Coordinate with clients for processing and legalization of documents for filing.
• Meet billable hour target of 1650 per year.
