Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of working knowledge in railway operations (road, yard, locomotive, mechanical).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to interact effectively with governmental and stakeholder groups.
• Ability to drill down, identify root causes and resolve complex issues.
• Strong self-motivation and capacity to make decisions within authority limits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe shop operations by implementing the safety scorecard and safety framework sessions at terminals.
• Ensure emergency response readiness within the territory.
• Provide leadership and support to field managers in assigned shops.
• Develop and communicate staffing levels at each terminal.
• Drive operational performance targets and trainyard productivity.
• Resolve escalations from terminals and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Ensure train inspections are performed to standards and logged.
