Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball, headquartered in Conyers, Georgia, seeks a Senior Project Manager for the Arrowood NC site to lead large construction projects and multiple projects concurrently. Expect independent work, decisive leadership, and collaboration with field PMs, GCs, and owners.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience directing multi-million-dollar projects, with willingness to travel to project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Construction Management, Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree highly preferred
• Minimum of 4 years leading large multi-million-dollar complex construction projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and consult with field project managers, general contractors and owners to nurture successful relationships
• Manage pre-construction, preplanning, and construction scheduling; grow Batchelor & Kimball business
• Subcontractor management to meet timelines and budgets; negotiate contracts with vendors
• Oversee project finances including profitability and cash flow; ensure safe, compliant operations
• Provide design conflict resolution with engineers and architects to determine specs
• Lead submittals, RFIs and change orders; implement monthly cost reports and cost projections
• Direct responsibility for subcontractors and PE/APMs; manage resources and field personnel
