Anduril Industries seeks a senior manufacturing engineer for mechanical systems on the Dive-XL line. You will own major structures from first article to rate production at our Quonset Point, Rhode Island campus, setting up processes with autonomy and collaborating with design, supply chain, quality and floor technicians.

You will drive root-cause and process improvements, implement engineering changes on the floor, and mentor junior engineers while leveraging Siemens NX and AR tools.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or production engineering experience on complex mechanical hardware.
• Owned a product or major assembly in production from start to finish with suppliers.
• Root cause analysis using 5 Whys, fishbone or 8D with corrective actions.
• Lean and continuous improvement projects on a production line.
• Reading complex drawings with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Manufacturing BOMs, routings and engineering changes in ERP/PLM/MES (Oracle/Teamcenter).
• 3D CAD for fixtures and tooling; Siemens NX preferred, SolidWorks/Creo accepted.
• Able to explain problems to technicians and program managers.
• Eligible for US Secret security clearance.

Mansioni

• Lead root cause on assembly problems, process deviations and tooling failures.
• Be the first contact for technicians and supervisors on mechanical build issues.
• Cut in engineering changes on the floor and update BOMs and routings.
• Own work instructions and SOPs for assemblies.
• Design fixtures, lifting equipment and tooling for large structures.
• Track yield, throughput, scrap and labor hours and drive fixes.
• Lay out workstations, material flow and commission heavy equipment and automation.
• Drive DFM and DFA with the design team before drawings are released.
• Use AI tools to build Python scripts, dashboards and small apps.
• Mentor early-career engineers and technicians.
• Travel to our Sydney factory when needed.
