Job summary

TALKE USA, INC. is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Baytown, TX.

The role requires following supervisor instructions, working with minimal supervision, and maintaining safety practices. Responsibilities include maintaining pumps and electric motors, reviewing procedures for compliance, and coordinating with planning staff to minimize production interruptions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training preferred.
• 5+ years mechanical maintenance experience required.
• Experience with packaging equipment maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read and understand manuals, reports, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing/packaging environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on pumps, motors, valves, and related components.
• Maintain and repair lifting equipment, conveyors, and related systems.
• Review procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Complete records of time and regulatory reports; coordinate with Planner/Supervisor.
