Job summary

DanHil Containers is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production operations by maximizing equipment uptime through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role works closely with machine operators and manufacturing supervisors to quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.

You will perform PMs, setup, startup and shutdown procedures, document repairs, and follow plant safety protocols, including PPE use.

Qualifications

2+ years experience in manufacturing equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Practical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electric controls.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work weekends and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems from schematics.
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize interruptions.
Diagnose, lubricate, and operate equipment while maintaining control systems.
Work independently or in teams to complete repairs safely.
Document repairs and parts usage after each shift.
Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
Setup, startup, shutdown, PMs on production equipment.
Utilize a wide range of machine tools to complete tasks.
