Job summary

Ravago Americas in Baytown, TX seeks an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining packaging lines, conveyors, and related material-handling equipment. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will troubleshoot faults, interpret schematics, and perform basic PLC/HMI diagnostics.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate preferred.
Experience in industrial maintenance, especially packaging/warehousing, is a plus.
Ability to read schematics and follow manuals for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on packaging lines and conveyors.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults with appropriate tools.
Interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
Perform basic PLC and HMI diagnostics and assist with programming changes under supervision.
Document maintenance activity, parts, labor, and equipment history in CMMS.
Follow LOTO, PPE, and safety procedures; report unsafe conditions.
Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, and contractors for service work.
Respond to breakdowns and restore equipment to safe operation promptly.
Assist with equipment installation, start-up, and continuous-improvement projects.
Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and inventory.
